Step 1: Discover your match and respond
Take a look at our dogs and cats and discover which star suits you.

Step 2: Sign up
We will send you a form in which you tell us a bit more about yourself, your home situation, and your wishes. This way, we can get a first impression.

Step 3: Online introduction
We will schedule an online meeting where we tell you more about the dog or cat and you can ask all your questions.

Step 4: Home video
As a final step, we ask you to make a home video of the place where your future pet will live, so that we get an idea of the living environment.

Step 5: We will let you know
After reviewing all the information, we will contact you with the decision regarding the adoption and how to proceed.

Step 6: Aftercare
Even after the adoption, when your new family member is at home with you, we are there for advice and support.

What you need to know before you adopt
At Hold My Paw, we believe it is important that every animal finds a safe and loving home. That is why we follow a few simple guidelines to ensure that our animals end up in good homes.
The most important thing is that you can devote sufficient time and attention to your new family member, so that the animal can adjust well and calmly. In addition, we ask for a donation to partially cover the costs incurred, such as medical care, shelter, and transport to the Netherlands.
A stable living situation is important. We assess whether your home is suitable for the animal, for example, whether there is a safe garden or balcony. Housemates, such as other pets, are also taken into account.
Finally, we ask you to sign an adoption agreement in which you promise to take good care of the animal and keep us informed of its well-being. This ensures a sustainable and loving adoption.
